Zoe was born in 1997. She is a woman. It was on her 27th birthday that she felt "old" and "late" for whatever boom awaited her adult life. She is decidedly not. She has studied art school in a number of places. Montreal, Canada, Lyon, France and Nice, France. She was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and grew up there until she was eighteen years old before running away from                             to Montreal. She explored her mother's home country Canada.

 

After doing an exchange for a year in Lyon and completing her masters in Nice she went to Basel. God knows why.

From 2023 until 2025 she had a studio in Birsfelden near Basel, in an old pharmaceutical building. She did a few shows in Switzerland but also in Ecuador. 

​

After trying most things in art school and not finishing much she decided to be a painter and a sculptor, mostly working with found objects. She's interested in themes of obsession, language, the gaze and nostalgia. She attempts to write sometimes.
