I do have some resistance showing these drawings from 2019-2022. I can't help but find them a little too hippy. I was really obsessed with spirals and how these patterns from the "natural" world would reflect on the city scape. Ugh, now I even have trouble writing "natural world". I started this essay called Camp Materialism by Juliane Rebentisch and now I'm doubting what we consider "natural" I guess by "natural" I mean the biological cell-like image we have of "nature". At that time I was thinking a lot about bacteria and viruses, the microness and  macroness. It was covid. Drawing really did something for me during those years- can't take that away from them.
